bottle, bought at the brewpub. Deep black colour, almost oily consistency and looks, huge brown head. I’ve never seen such a brown head. Very aromatic hcocolatey nose. Full-bodied, lovely malt flavours with caramel, lots of chocolate and a touch of freshly ground coffee. Lingering chocolatey finish. Delicious and very, very moreish, despite the strength.

Swing top. Pours thick black with a thin beige head. Aroma of stewed, roast malt. Low carbonation. The flavour is high on chocolate with a side not of coffee and a degree of liquorice. The booze is a warming afterthough. Really delicious.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 7, 2012
Bottle, from trade with Dedollewaitor. Looking gorgeous this one, black in color and with a dense, finger-thick, tan head on top. Coffee, molasses and some dark sugar in the aroma. A little bit of chocolate too. The flavor is more on the chocolate side, with coffee, mocha and a nice hoppyness. Not very bitter. A bit thin on the palate maybe, yet far from watery. Quite dry, finishing with chocolate dominating. An impressive beer, and certainly not what I expected from the Czech Republic. 110826

Solid body, very low in carbonation, hard roast malts - sweet though - a little tarry, dark dark fruits, dusty and ashy with very subdued hops. Pleasant alright - has held up well with age. 130711
