Tap at the brewery. Hazy green colour, good image here. Aroma summer meadow, nettles. Taste a bit watery, tart grassy. Finish bitter, quite long, grassy. Average, drinkable.

Keg at Dum. Pours Green like limeade with a white head. Looks like a witches potion. Aroma of nettle. Flavour has the herbal nettle edge too but ultimately the taste is unimpressive. Good experiment though.

draught at Pivovarsky Dum. Hazy green colour, white head with green hue. Malty base with nettle flavours, herbal character. Quite interesting, much better than expected.

Tap @ brewery in Prague. Clear, slime green appearance with an off white head that disappears quickly. Weird, spicy, herbal, light ginger aroma. Chewy, leaf/herbal, fairly spicy, gross flavor.

(on tap) Green colour, looks extremely unnatural. Aroma of sandalwood and freshly cut grass, medicinal, seems artificial and is too dominant. Mild taste, watery on the palate. less horrible than it looks, but still not good. Not very beer-like. I have nothing against beer with herbs, but I cannot recommend this one.

Draft at Pivovarský Dum, summer 2011. Saw the people next to me order this Ecto Cooler lookalike and I had to try it. Just as pictured, the body is a lightly hazy, mossy, slime green color. A thick and puffy head of cream colored foam settles at a moderate pace to a thin film, leaving behind broken walls and spots of lace. Certainly looks interesting. The nose hits with an explosion of white pepper, very sharp and dusty, and nearly sneeze-inducing! Once you get past the initial onslaught, underlying malts are cereal based, hinting also at corn...almost like a cheap pale lager. The flavor is just as intense, attacking the tongue with sharp black and white pepper, all over a pretty terrible pale lager corn malt base. The palate is thin and weak, definitely lacking substance, and the moderate carbonation bubbles tend to intensify the stinging effect of the peppery nettle leaves. What a dysfunctional beer. Pretty terrible.

18/11 Sampled at the brewpub. It poured clear green body, small white head. Nice. Nettle aroma, similar herbal flavor, slightly bitterish, also touched with their typical bread malt. Medium bodied with pretty long, slightly bitter and spicy herbal finish. It’s very interesting and peculiar brew, which, for a change, I liked despite it got a bit warm already.
