This delicately greenish lager tastes and smells of dried nettle leaves.

Draught @ Pivovarsky Dum. Lurid Green but gets better from there. Peppery leafy herbal nose. Light fruity malts and nice spicy bitterness. Quite good.

Green, yes green, color. No head. Spicy pepper aroma, notes of nettels and a bit herbal. Herbal flavor, flat and it dies quickly in your mouth. At least it was an interesting experience, but please dont allow beer to be green...

Draught at the brewpub. Not Ecto Cooler green, more like clear mint leaf green. Short white head. Sure smells of nettles, that’s for sure, feel like I’m crawling through the bush and eating everything that passes my mouth. Interesting, to say the least. Watery thin body. Taste is a drier form of mouthwash, herbal, minty, and strange. Especially the aftertaste.

Clear dark green color, small white with some green head. Fresh vegetable scent. Odd vegetable flavor, not reallt like the nettle soup or the nettle beer brewed by myself. Still very refreshing. Good bitterness, a bit sour. Nettles in the aftertaste. I remember the nettle beer I tried at the same location a year ago to be much better and having a different look to it. Perhaps they changed it?

(Draught at the brewpub in PRague on June 24, 2008)
Clear dark green color, green head. Very funny. Spicy, sweet, butterscotch and nettles scent, also grassy. NEttles and grassy thin taste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Tap @ Brewpub .Pale green, medicine like, small to no head. Spicy, green leaf, pokrzywa (nettle), herbal nose very true to original aroma, some of pine/spruce as well. Clean bitterness with bitter spicy bite. Very interesting almost bizarre . Superb herbal beer.

(Tap) Green color, not unlike antifreeze. No head and very little carbonation. Flavor is unique, but not at all good. Vegetable, plant-like flavor, with a sharpness in the aftertaste. Hard to explain, but nothing I would drink again. Nettle is an herb found all over Northern Europe that grows like a weed.

[on tap at brewpub] Misty, strong Japanese green tea appearance with remnants of a foam ring. Pungent herbal and vegetal aroma with heaps of black pepper. Very unique! The uniqueness doesn’t end at the aroma: swamp vegetable flavour with black pepper--Elixerlike. Low bitterness. Light body with moderate carbonation and lingering black pepper.

31-12-04 from Pivovarsky Dum. One of my favourire bars I have made three visits over the last few years to this place, a great bar. Well it’s certainly green but I didn’t let that put me off, unfortunatley found this one to be a bit on the bland side compared to their other offerings some hops and malt there but otherwise nothing special.

This beer is bright green! Shocking appearance. It tastes like a mix of PineSol and trees. I enjoyed it slightly, though it gets props for creativity (as does the entire brewpub). Quality stuff from the folks at Dum. Nice charming brewpub in middle of nowhere, Prague.

Nettle? what is that? Well they kinda explained it to me, but i’m still confused even after drinking it, but i think i got an idea. On tap at the brewery. Well this is a first for appearance, pours green with a fast falling white head, and i’m not talking about a green hue, i mean picture green gatorade or something. Smells and tastes kinda like some funky hippie herbal soap bar. Balanced malts and hops, but so mild you can’t really taste much exept this kinda pine needle and petuli oil pate, well not really, but something odd. I really didn’t mind it for the first sip, but was kinda struggling after that.
