A hazy dark yellow beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is weird - and I can’t really put words to it, but what springs to mind without being a perfect description are notes of citrus and anise. I wonder if it is the yeast that gives it the weird aromas. The flavor is very sweet and very spicy combined with notes of citrus.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr/KimJohansen. Comes as "Dudak Samp Pivni Sekt". Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Lightly malty aroma. Medium body with sweetish perfumy accents. Ends on a lightly bitter note. Quite unusual but not unpleasant. 141208

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized bubbly/foamy head. Aroma is lots of citrus, some wood and yeast. Flavour is the typical Finnish "sima", mainly sugary and a bit citrus fruity. Very refreshing.

Bottled. Hazy golden. Perfumy grape aroma. Sweet with fresh, sparkling mouthfeel. Medium bodied with some grassy salty bitterness. Very unusual and experimental, and actually quite enjoyable.

Scopeys East Croydon tasting - Cheers Paul! Champagne beer! Clear pale gold beer, small white head. Crisp and dry palate. Lagerish malt with a little champagne like fruitiness. Finishes minerally and crisp. A pleasant surprise!

Bottle opened by someone at the Alvinne pre Zythos event 09. Hey, I’ve just realised that I’ve actually been to the brew pub in Prague. Parma violets. A bit like chewing on a Refresher for any UK children out there. Gold colour, but just a crazy lager. It’s crazy, on eof the most interesting Czech beers I’ve had. I have a bottle at home which I will re-rate to see if it is as good as I thought on that memorable night.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2009 Bottle. Tea-like aroma and flavour. Sweetish. Mouthfeel seems a little thick, like orange juice or something. Fine-bubbled head which disappears rather quickly. 6 3 7 3 15

Bottle, 5.0%. 5 months past BB date. Sweet, citric, soapy, caramelly, teaish aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour has loads of coriander. A little sweetness. Not much else. 5 3 5 3 13

Bottle. Couldy with light tannish colour. Interesting aroma is lightly fruity, lightly dusty. Unique beer with a lively body, fruity unique yeasty character. Almost has that prosecco in the finish. Fun brew.
