4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 drpimento (1936) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 5, 2010
I like this. Great refreshment! Poured with a huge, foamy, frothy, short lived, off white head and no lace. Color is clear at first with both big and small bubble trails then turns a hazy amber. Aroma is hop, yeast, malt. Flavor is slightly malt sweet, some hop, and a bit of tang from CO2. Body itself is ok, but the carbonation is excellent. Finish is like flavor and slowly tapers off. Session beer, but beware serious burpage.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Leighton (7176) - London, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2011
Bottle at the East Croydon Beer Tasting. Pours cloudy yellow yellow with a foamy, white head. Aroma is sweet and floral. Flavor, too, is sweet and floral, slightly soapy, bit of white sugar and bubblegum. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Nice finish, fairly prominent bubblegum, bit more florals and modest sugar. Very nice lager.

bottled. 4% alc. 3 months´ lagering. looks like champagne but a bit yellower. some rosehip in the aroma as well as champagne. weird and good. some tangy chamomile flavour, furry then disappearing texture, light grassiness. as eczematic says, with a bit more dryness, this would be great

Bottle, at ZBF 2006. Hazy lemon gold, good white head and moderate condition. Good restrained lemon citrus wheatiness in the nose, subtle lemon sweet and spritzy tonic water notes in the mouth, lingering delicate lemon citrus in the finish.

Bottle opened by someone at the Alvinne pre Zythos event 09. Hey, I’ve just realised that I’ve actually been to the brew pub in Prague. Parma violets. A bit like chewing on a Refresher for any UK children out there. Gold colour, but just a crazy lager. It’s crazy, on eof the most interesting Czech beers I’ve had. I have a bottle at home which I will re-rate to see if it is as good as I thought on that memorable night.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 mattphilips (802) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 27, 2011
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beershine (5174) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - FEB 11, 2011
Bottle from brewpub. Orange and enthusiastic champagne-like effervescence with a yeasty haze. Nice hopfen aroma, smells like a Belgian beer, thinking Chouffe Houblon. Dry and inviting. Very tasty and easy going. Super drinkable, refreshing, and thirst-quenching. Highly carbonated Belgianlike mouthfeel. Very nice hoppy dry herbal extraction flavors. Enjoyable!

Bottle. Couldy with light tannish colour. Interesting aroma is lightly fruity, lightly dusty. Unique beer with a lively body, fruity unique yeasty character. Almost has that prosecco in the finish. Fun brew.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 eczematic (1304) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 29, 2004
what a weird beer. but I like it! Extremely excitable when poured, clear yellow with enormous fluffy head, as befitting a champagne beer. Smells of champagne yeast - sort of Duvely, gluey and doughy, with light malt. Tastes like pizza dough. White winey, perfumey and light, with a bit of bitterness. Quite dry but not dry enough, if this was bone-dry in the finish like Duvel (or like champagne) I’d like it even more. thanks motel once again. (maybe we should try aging one of these?)
