Sep 11, 2007 On tap at Pivovarsky Klub. Orange colour and bold. Very tasty floral arrangement of oranges, citrus, peach. Most hoppy. Unfiltered and very choice.

I first rated this a 4.0 in 2009 and I’m surprised and pleased that I evaluated it about the same (even higher) in 2011, without knowing that I was re-rating this wonderful beer.

2011: Draft. Perfect honey biscuit just-sweet malt throughout with doughy and bready soft yeast. Perfectly soft texture with wonderful pronounced crispness, medium-high acid, high calcium, hugely quaffable, promotes gulping. Doughy, powdery and buzzing yeast with green, raw hops and a strong mineral presence in a drying finish. Superb.

2009: Draft at Pivovarsky Klub, unfiltered. Honey gold colored body with a light haze, and a sticky, patchy, foamy near-white head. Nose is huge cracker pils malt with a substantially strong yeast presence… dusty, minerally yeast goodness. Resinous sweet malt on the tongue up front, bright, fresh, crisp and vivid throughout, with a syrupy pils malt and grassy, dry Saaz hop note in the finish. Really, really delicious.

Draft at Pivovarsky Klub. Hazy almost opaque orange yellow pour with a thin white head. Very unpleasant aroma, almost reminds me of piss. Similar note in the flavor. Dry and bitter. I found it almost undrinkable.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours golden with a white head. This is a rather hoppy pilsener. In a citrusy way. Crisp. Also some caramel notes from the malt.

Tap at Pivovarsky Dum. Cloudy dark gold pour with a creamy head. Aroma holds lots of wheat and yeast, touch of banana and caramel. Flavor holds more bready and yeast. Palate has light effervescence with a creamy mouthfeel. Nice stuff.

tap at pivoarsky klub. aroma of bright, fresh, clean lemongrass. crisp light basement funk. beautifull. aroma>taste. taste is more herbal, doughy, creamed corn. disconnect between world class juicy clean rustic aroma and decent pilsner taste. liked quite a bit. fun to drink.

ElDesmadre (378) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAY 26, 2011
Tap at Pivovarsky Klub. Hazy golden with a thick but quickly dissipating head. Aroma is of cellar, very malty, only a little bit less hoppy, a bit of honey. Carbonation is medium, body is full, taste is malty with a light honey edge, piney-citrusy hoppy with a mid-high bitterness. Tastes very fresh.

Velice příjmné pivo, ať už natočené ze žirafy, nebo třeba stočené do petky.

On tap at Pivovarsky Klub, Praha. Slight hazy pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild grainy nose. Malty, very hoppy and grainy taste with pleasant hoppy finish. A bit watery but never mind. Easy drinkable beer.
