Robustic beer. Nice amber hazy appearance with a foamy lacing head. Aroma of yeast and some malt, floral hop. The flavour is robustic, not a complex taste of yeast and malt with a characteristic hop. Overall robustic one

Draft at Pivovarský Dum. The pour yields a beautiful, cloudy, glowing golden amber body with a tall, puffy, eggshell white head. The froth lasts a good long while, leaving behind thick, broken sheets of lace. Aromas are based in clean, fresh cereal grain malt, showing beautifully caramelized sugars that suggest of sweet bread dough. There’s a hint of acidity for balance, along with a healthy dose of fresh, floral Noble hops (I’m thinking Saaz). Flavors follow suit, very fresh and excellently balanced, showing a lightly sweet liquid bread base with crisp acidity and a biting, balancing, grassy hop finish. The palate sports a moderate body and smooth, even keeled carbonation. The aforementioned acidity cleans the mouth out quickly, making for quite the quaffable, refreshing brew. I could drink this all day. Good stuff. perfect balance refreshing very good.

18/11 Sampled at the brewpub. It poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Pleasant citrus, biscuit and grain aroma. Bitter flavor, chalky, dust and herbal to cardboard hoppy, generally fine. Medium bodied with long bitterish orange finish. Pretty fine local pils.

Draft at the brew pub. Clear slightly hazy pour with little carbonation and a thin white head. Aroma of hay, citrus, and cream. Flavor is dry bitter, and creamy. Bready with a bit of hay. Nice hoppy finish. Notes of citrus. A bit watery, but a decent beer.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2011

Pivovarsky Klub, Prága. Szűretlen, szinte teljesen átláthatatlan barnás-narancsos-aranysárgás színe van, tetején tömör, kitartó hófehér habbal. Illata friss, malátás-szalmás. Az íze eszméletlenül ott van, szinte haraphatóan malátás-kenyeres, üdítően friss a füves keserű komlótól, szinte tökéletes. Éppen megfelelően testes és keserű, száraz, friss sör. Gyakorlatilag bármennyit meg tudnék belőle inni...

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild butterish and dry bitterhops aroma. Flavour is initially medium sweet and light fruity with a following mild sweetness as base. Ends vaguely bitter and with notes of brewmash.
