COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Back in merry olde England, the roadside inns were abuzz with banter and smiling glances from buxom barmaids - barmaids who, we might add, brewed the ale they served. In their honor, our brewers treat each batch of Dundee English-Style Ale they brew with the same love and care as the barmaids of old, combining pale and caramel malts with Columbus and Cascade hops for a malty, slightly sweet finish. Now, if only they’d stop dressing like barmaids...

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a roasted malt and toffee aroma, very pleasing Appearance- Pours a murky orange color with a small off-white head. Taste- Roasted malt and toffee with some hops thrown in, real good flavor Palate- A medium bodied moderately carbonated. Overall- A surprisingly good beer from Dundee, i have had several of their styles before and this is the best that i have had from them

Not hoppy or malty at all. Has a little bit of a creaminess. Goes down smooth with a sweet caramel flavor. Not a lot of aftertaste either. Not too familiar with English style ales but this is not to bad.

Pours copper with a pretty nice foamy lacy head. A little cloudy. It’s unfiltered, and I love that! Well, there’s not as much sediment as what I would expect, so I would guess slightly filtered.

Aroma is caramel roasty, and maybe leathery. I’ve never really smelled a beer quite like this one. Light cloves maybe. Not that it’s bad, but different often is good.

Taste is caramel and nutty roasted malt. First taste isn’t all that great, but subsequent tastes are better. I like it! But somehow, I was expecting more.

Mouthfeel is very dry. Medium body. A little bitter, but not a lot, and slightly astringent. Not loving it so much on mouthfeel, I may have rated it a little high.

Overall, I’m a little disappointed. It’s still pretty good all around. Good character and flavor, but the mouthfeel is off. Not one I would likely seek out again.

Interesting and thin. Very enjoyable but not much of a special feature in it. Nice aroma and a little cloudy.

Bottle - good size foamy head, light copper color, mild biscuity malt aroma and flavor, mild earthy hop balance, fairly dry finish, a little on the bland side overall but not terrible, certainly drinkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle. Poured a dark amber with a thin creamy off white head. An inviting malty aroma. Light-medium body, average carbonation with a tart dryish finish. Sweet flavour, notes of caramel, toasty with just a touch of herbal hops.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Dirty yellow brew with a very nice dense head. Aroma of caramel, a little toffee, fruit and a hint of grass. Taste is light sweet caramel at the start with a mild bitter at the finish. Not so complex but tasty.

Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured dark golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate complex sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a soft beer.
