Back in merry olde England, the roadside inns were abuzz with banter and smiling glances from buxom barmaids - barmaids who, we might add, brewed the ale they served. In their honor, our brewers treat each batch of Dundee English-Style Ale they brew with the same love and care as the barmaids of old, combining pale and caramel malts with Columbus and Cascade hops for a malty, slightly sweet finish. Now, if only they’d stop dressing like barmaids...

Not the normal Dundee but not too bad for English style. Has a sweeter than normal start but a nice full bodied finish. I will drink all that I have! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looks pretty much like a pale beer in the glass, decent head goes slightly rocky. Slight malt aroma. Has that typical dundee flavor in the background. Overall not bad, goes down fairly easy. Except for that dundee background flavor, does have manners.

The aroma of this beer is quite simple with undertones of bready malts and doughy yeast, but the color is hazy golden with a minimal white head. The taste of the beer is slightly sour and slightly bitter, but the combination of the medium body, lively carbonation, bitter finish, and sticky texute make this beer interesting.

thanks jbruner: bottles to glass:dull straw-gold white head some lacing visible carbonation. aroma of wet grain and corn, light english hop floral notes. good mouth feel very drinkable. taste is a bit off. malt forward with a floral bitterness. not as bad as expected but could be more flavorful. very drinkable though. Had a tea quality that lingers and not that great.

Pours a hazy golden orange from the bottle with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave good lacing. The look is about the only good thing about this beer, then it falls off. Aroma of bready and english pale malts, taste is biscuity with a hint of sweet caramel malt. Thin on the mouth and no real finish; not very good, but not really bad.

12 oz bottle served at about 55F pours a medium amber color. The off-white head had decent retention. The aroma is mildly sweet and pleasant, featuring caramel malt. The flavor also comes primarily from the light-medium malts, but there is also some hop presence. Light-medium body; good carbonation; smooth feel.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with about 1/2" of dense, sticky white head. The aroma picked up sweet, toasted grains and honey with light berry accents.. clean, but not all that interesting. The flavor found soft bread and honey sweetness at the core, with prickly carbonation, light berry bitterness, and a kiss of tangy wheat around.. finished a bit tangy with full carbonation. Light-bodied and well-carbonated as mentioned on the palate.. OK feel and flow.. this was aiight for what it was.

Bottle. Tan brown. Not very malty. More like a pale ale . Nothing special . But drinkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
