2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Slightly hazy gold pour with a 1 finger, soapy white head. Aroma of bread, grain, planty grassy and slightly skunky hops. Flavor is toast, doughy bread, biscuit, dishwater, citrus, grass and a little skunk. Light vegetal notes build on the back of my tongue as I drink, cabbage-like, Light fairly neutral body with a moderate carbonation. Tastes a little off, but I’ve had worse.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Orange pour with a slight malty nose. Way to light on the body, no hops aroma or taste just a strange bitter after taste. Every Dundee beer style tastes the same, just can’t get into any of this brewers beers

Transfer from BA review on 5-19-12 -
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a golden color with a light haze and a billowy white head. The head fades fast to give a lighter amount of lacing.
Smell – The aromas are relatively light, but consist of a bread and caramel aroma.
Taste – A malty flavor meets the tongue. A little bit of caramel sweetness is present up front and intensifies as the flavor moves toward the middle. The breadiness forms a base but toward the middle the caramel starts to fade as a lighter yeasty flavor begins working its way into the tongue. This flavor remains mild and mixes with the bread and a very light citrus flavor at the end which bring the taste to its finish.
Mouthfeel – Medium to just above medium in body with a average level of carbonation. The body suits the abv and malty flavors well. Not bad for the style; it’s very drinkable.
Overall – Not too bad. The beer is easy to drink, has great price, and has a good flavor without being too high in abv. A good session.

Pours a light amber with a decent head. Malty and caramelly. Decent beer but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Rated on 10-19-2011. This bottled beer pours a small, smooth, fizzy white head with a long retention, yellow hazy body, very fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is caramel, bready malt, crisp, light hops, and sweet. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, caramel, bready malt, and lightly hoppy. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this is a medium bodied beer. This beer is easy to drink even though it does not have a lot of character to it. It has no WOW factor for me and is not on my want to drink again list.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Slightly fruity barley malt aroma. Hazy deep brassy gold with a moderate off-white head, nice lacing. Fruity barley malt and light grassy flavor. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall a little light, but not bad at all and very easy to drink.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Pours a dark gold color with a thick white head. Lots of carbonation, almost seems as there there may be some wild yeast. Aroma of wet grass or hay. Not much body, a faint plastic taste comes through. Finishes clean and crisp but no that good overall. Not sure if I got an old one or not.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a clear copper with a weak head that leaves relatively little lacing. Stale malts, grassy hops, and metal aroma. Taste follows suit. This is a decent easy-drinking beer for the price, but a poor example of a pale ale. Reminds me an awful lot of Foster’s take on the style. Worth a tick, but not worth seeking out.
