2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Vegetal malt and nutmeg/cinnamon/clove aroma. Vegetal caramel malt and spice flavor. Medium body and carbonation. I’m finding I’m not a fan of these highly spiced winter beers.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated transparent dark orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was spicy cloven and herb. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of spices and mild hops. Delicious not too strong and one I would certainly buy again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, caramel-ruby with a fine, wimpy off-white foam. Nose holds some toasty caramel, rich bread. Medium sweet flavor, some toasty sugars, hints of tangy cherries, a bit of toffee, sweet bread, fruit cake, very light cinnamon. Light to medium bodied with fine, tingly carbonation. Modestly sweet finish, plenty of caramelised fruits, mildly tangy cherries and other berries, some light toffee, background spices like nutmeg and cinnamon. Decently well rounded. It’s kind of nice that the spice character really takes a backseat. In general, pretty well nuanced and quite drinkable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle: Pours a clear pale orange bronze with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a light cinnamon spiced nose with a touch of light caramel malt. Starts with average fullness and a light sugary sweetness with some musky spice balance and earthy bittering hops with a hint of butter before a drier bittersweet finish. Could be a little cleaner, but not a bad attempt at the style.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
honestly a solid ale, somewhere between an amber and a winter warmer i suppose. malty, kinda buttery, with some spicy zest. a somewhat oily finish on the tongue. i dont really get why no love for Dundee. their stuff isnt exciting or cutting edge, but their stuff is solid and dependable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Aroma has notes of citrus and winter spices along with cereal malts. Medium amber hue with a small off-white head that mostly diminished and left okay lace. Flavor is medium sweet. Palate is medium bodied and oily soft. Overall a weak brew that wasn’t very festive.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Clear reddish orange pour with a minimal white head. Aroma is malty, some spice, but kind of a medicinal funk. Medium palate. Taste is better than aroma - caramel malts and mild spices come through. Easy drinker, and decent enough.
