12oz - One of the better things Genesee has rolled out. The nose still seems sweet to me, a distraction. Decent body, decent malt, good finish.

amber pour with a light head. nice aroma of caramel and spices. lots of carbonation. The flavor didn’t really standout, compared to other winter beers.

bottle - Pours clear amber with a two finger off white head and a spicy, toasted malt aroma. It tastes of sweet toasted caramel malt and holiday spices with very little hops presence. This medium bodied spiced ale is straight-foward and enjoyable though and finishes a little dry.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear, red-amber colored body with a thin, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate duration. Aroma is fruity, apple-berries with some sweet caramels. A fair amount of winter spicing with a light vanilla and earthy hop. Flavor is similar. Fruity with some nutty caramels and a light vanilla. More of that winter spicing before this dries with a light bitterness and some toast and leaves a moderate length aftertaste. Light bodied, smooth, and clean. Overall, a decent winter ale. Fruity and spicy flavors go well with a simple malt backing. Unremarkably average.

On tap at Cole’s. Mild aroma, mild, spice, mild flavour. A little hops in there, maybe. Alcohol is present. Christmas Ale for dummies.

Pours dark amber with an off white head. Aromas of sweet caramel, roasted malts and some light hops and wheat. Flavors of caramel, roasted malts, light hops and wheat. Not bad.

Some chocolate, cherry and faint Carmel notes in the aroma. Not much to the taste some chocolate and maybe some honey. Thin finish. unimpressive

12oz. Pours a darkish amber with light head retention, very clear, some minor lacing on the glass. Very mellow aroma, mostly fruity, little hop aroma. Some banana flavors, followed by malt and no hops. Definite spice flavors but I can’t pinpoint them. Highly carbonated, surges the tongue immediately, with a medium body.
