COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our India Pale Ale is brewed with an aggressive hop profile derived from Amarillo and Simcoe hops. A blend of Crystal malts creates the backbone which supports the hop character without diminishing it.

Pretty average IPA, lacking a good hop definition for its ABV. Needs a bit more balance.

Not getting much on the nose. No lacing makes for an ugly beer. Taste is overly sweet with little body. Kinda like cordial. No thanks.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a somewhat hazy, peachy orange appearance with a tan head. Stinky feet, earthy, bready, a touch citrusy aroma that is not pleasant. Caramel, toasted malty, bitter herbal hoppy, light grapefruity, nasty flavor. Not good.

Pours almost clear amber. Smell is mostly sweet caramel malts and some muddy citrus hops. Taste confirms the smell of mostly caramel malts with some lemon and orange hints. Ok at best.

Spice herbal hop malt aroma. Clear brown amber colour with poor head and lacing. Herbal spice fruit flavour. Fizzy palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Certainly not as hoppy as I expected. Didn’t really get any curious coming through, was dominated by the malt.

Pours a dark amber/copper with a solid frothy head in a tulip shape glass. I am immediately getting more malty notes, chocolate, toffee etc than hoppy or citrus notes. Malty notes on the palate with a metallic finish, although the aftertaste is a positive one, it does fall flat immediately on the palate. Perhaps Dundee misbranded this as an IPA. It plays more of an Amber Ale. Theres really not much hops going on here. Perhaps with some better dry hopping it could pass as an IPA. I got a case of 12 oz bottles for $24 dollars so not to shabby for the buck. If you were expecting an IPA, than not the beer for you, if you like malty ales, then this could be a good value buy for your dollar

Bottle. Biscuity caramel malt and musty citrus hop aroma. Clear copper with a large ivory head. Nondescript malt and astringent-metallic weedy hops flavor. Light body, soft carbonation.

Aroma is a little hoppy, but really not strong. Taste is a nice blend of hops and malts. Overall not memorable, but solid.
