COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our India Pale Ale is brewed with an aggressive hop profile derived from Amarillo and Simcoe hops. A blend of Crystal malts creates the backbone which supports the hop character without diminishing it.

Pours a deep, clear, mahogany/amber with a nice tan head.. Very little aroma...just a little florals. Taste is a little piney, hoppy, grapefruit. It’s actually sweet to start, then bitters up some....pretty mild. This would be a good starter beer to introduce someone to IPA’s......then give ’em the real thing and watch the shock occur !!!

Dark copper in color with nice sudsy white head. Slightly floral, mostly malty aroma. Lightly floral taste but mostly malty-bready and slightly off.

Draft at BUF. Pours clear orange gold with light white head and laced well. Aromas of light caramel grass and pine. Some metallic and medicinal hints. Light Acetone. Taste: Light residual yeast, moderate bitterness, not too much flavor, light medium body. Finish brings lingering grassy bitterness, moderate residual yeast, lingering toffee sweetness and acetone. Not so great. But a Pass.

starts off promising looks good in the glass and doesn’t smell bad, but tastes very plain with a unpleasant bitterness, you get what you pay for i guess. a poor effort at an ipa.

Odd find for Australia. Looks good as a clear amber gold color. Good head retention to the head. Lots of lemongrass, metal and biscuit in smell and taste. Not really bitter at all. Sweet in the palate. Got a lot like lemon pledge in a way. Not a good IPA

12oz bottle - pours slightly hazy gold with thin white head and trace lacing. Nose is citrus and pine. Flavor hoppity hop with caramel malts. taste starts off sweet and hints that this won’t be bitter, but then the bitterness hits you. Medium body and sticky texture. Don’t like IPA’s but this one is OK.

ALLOVATE (1714) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - MAR 2, 2012
Out the bottle, chilled and into a straightwall. A translucent, thin looking deep amber with plenty of carbonation. The head is steadfast, sloppy white dollop that leaves thick wads of lace. Rubbery aroma at first wanes to reveal some fresh, floral notes, vine clippings, sweet leafy herbs, cantaloupe and honeydew, fairy floss and fresh cracked pepper that tickles the olfactories. Musky perfume and bitter herbal notes kick in in the mouth at first. husky, cereal-like toasted grains offer good balance, a little like drinking rose water for the rest. The body is firm, not big with frothy carbonation. Not hugely flavoursome, light esters so delicately placed are hard to pinpoint. Very dry overall, but sessionable enough. Masks the 6.3% ABV with ease. Average, but better than I anticipated! (12fl.oz, BB 28/08/12, Dan Murphy’s Currambine)

Bottle. Amber with an off-white head. Faint aroma of pears, soap, a little grapefruit. Weird and bad. Taste is rather better - sweetish caramel, pine grapefruit, decent bitterness - but pretty soapy. Well in date.
