Our India Pale Ale is brewed with an aggressive hop profile derived from Amarillo and Simcoe hops. A blend of Crystal malts creates the backbone which supports the hop character without diminishing it.

Transfer from BA review on 5-19-12 - Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a golden color with a billowy off white head. The head has a fairly good level of retention but eventually fades to give a medium amount of lacing. Smell – The aroma is sweet and malty. A caramel and bready aroma are the heaviest. These are mixed with lighter citrus and floral notes. A nice sweeter aroma, but a little lacking on the hoppy aromas for an IPA. Taste – Starts out with a more busicity malt flavor. There is a very light caramel in the tongue at the start, but it is much lighter then would have been anticipated from the nose. After the initial biscuit (which is a base throughout the taste) flavors of citrus come to the tongue. It’s is a medium to light level of hoppiness. At the very end some of the caramel sweetness that was detected in the nose comes into the taste and mixes with the citrus hop flavors bringing the taste to its finish. Mouthfeel – The carbonation level of this brew is slightly below normal with the body being just a tad above normal thickness. The body accentuates the flavors well and the lower carbonation does the same. Not bad. Overall – It has some nice flavors, but is lacking in one of the key components of an India Pale Ale – a nice hop presence. If looking for a light hopped affordable IPA this is one to go for.

It has nice amber color with good clarity and a thin foamy head that is off white in color. The aroma is light with a pleasant citrus hop scent over a faint malt note. It has a mellow pine and citrus hop tone balanced by a thin malt presence. The palate has a smooth mouth feel with a light to medium body and mild carbonation. Basic, smooth, and safe. It has a simple, never over the top flavor that is enjoyable but not one that you would say I need to get more of that.

12 oz. bottle part of the Seasonal Variety Pack. Pours a yellowish amber with which an off-white 1 finger in length stod. Tastes and smells of American hops, Red Star flaked baking yeast, capers, sea salt, and sweat. Overall, best Dundee I’ve had. Not saying a lot, though.

Little aroma. Almost no visable head. Taste is quite interesting leading towards a Scotch Ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours amber with a thin tan head. Aroma is some slight citrus but not much flavor is very malty and sweet. Almost syrupy. Drinkable sort of. Much too sweet.

Moderate boldness, not too bitter for an IPA. Took a chance on this with the variety pack. Was a good compliment to multigrain crackers and spicy horseradish cheese

bottle. Light amber with small head. Light malt body. Not as hoppy as you’d expect from an IPA. Below average.

Clear orange with a fair amount of visual carbonation. The head quickly dissolves though. Nice of aroma of citrus. Excellent malt hop balance without over doing the hops. Appears to be more of an original English IPA. Not the new American hop bomb versions that are in over abundance today. Finishes dry with a lingering hop taste. Not bad at all.
