COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our India Pale Ale is brewed with an aggressive hop profile derived from Amarillo and Simcoe hops. A blend of Crystal malts creates the backbone which supports the hop character without diminishing it.

Another good brew from J W Dundees. Pours a clear copper with a thick white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is somewhat light, but there are definite notes of grass and pine and maybe a little citrus. Good bite of bitterness up front with pine and grapefruit prevelant. Finishes with some sweetness that dissolves into a slightly bitter aftertaste. For the price, a very good IPA.

33 cl. bottle. Hazy orange colour with a white head. Aroma and flavor of malt, hops, grass, fruit, crispy, lemon, caramel, peach and a bitter finish.

Bottle in Melbourne. A darkish clear gold with a half finger of head. A light tropical fruit nose, grainy, the taste is similar with more of a malt than hop presence. Has a minerality in it, it’s clean at the end, but a tad light for an IPA. Not bad but nothing memorable.

Originally rated on 8/11/08. Out of the sampler craft case, the Dundee IPA poured a dark copper colored body, with a decent head that left heavy lacing. The aroma was floral, but faint, flavor was a little citrus, and pine but neither were very pronounced, a mildly bitter finish. It is kind of in between a IPA and a hoppy APA, A decent but not outstanding beer, it would be a good intro for those new to IPA’s.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. May have been a bad bottle, hardly any carbonation

Pours a thick, long lasting head. Earthy, toasted malt aromas. Some background floral and fruity notes dominated by the malt, which is backed by a solid hops bitterness.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, citrus fruits, and dusty hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottled. Nice golden brown. Nice roast nut malty tasty. Citrus hops. The label says bold. And I agree with that. Nice strong malt flavor

Better than a [insert name of crappy generic slosh here] but that’s not saying much, is it? Points in its favour are that it was light and clean, perfectly well made and perfectly balanced. To me, this is drinkable but boring, to others it’s probably heaven. Each to his own.
