COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In Germany, Kobes(brewery waiters) have been serving Kolsch since 1906. But they’re notoriously tough to pin down, always rushing past with grilled potatoes, cabbage, sausages, sandwiches, and big round trays of their namesake brew. And while you might need to speak Germanto order a Kolsch in Koln, you don’t need any such skill to enjoy one here. Ours is light and refreshing with subtle "biscuity" notes and a clean refreshing finish. It’s also considerably less difficult to order. And thats something we can all drink too. Prost! 14°

The Dundee Kolsch pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipated quickly and leaves little lacing. The aroma is lemon and bread. The flavor is lemon citrus and bread. Overall this is not too impressive of a Kolsch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good aroma, nothing too special and typical taste for this style beer. Did not get the biscuity taste in the description. Decent drink but better ones out there in my opinion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The color of this beer combines the large, white, foamy head with a bubbly golden color, which sits nicely but not too spectacularly in the glass, but the aroma is reminiscent of fresh and still slightly doughy biscuits. The taste is mildly sour and slightly sweet, but this isn’t really too forward on the tongue; also, the palate mixes a light body, slick texture, average carbonation, and a sour finish that doesn’t stick around for too terribly long.

Bright gold color, lots of bubbles, big white head. The nose is malty sweet. Clean, bright, fresh, and crisp. Refreshing biscuity & yeasty aromas, and some malty/grainy aromas. A faint fruity/citrus aroma way in the background as well. A little bit bitter on the sides of the tongue. Easy-drinking, light-bodied, and tastes great ice cold. I imagine it being pretty versatile in terms of pairing it with food, since it’s not overpowering. I could go for some pizza or a sub right now.

Pale gold pour with minimal white fizzy head. Nose is pale malt, mild hopcitrus. Tastes watery, with some hoppy, citric, and fructose syrup flavors in the finish.

I drank it and it’s average, but as the description says it is clean and refreshing. Tada!

Aroma is mainly grains and a hint of harshness. The flavor is yeast, grains and mildly fruity (raspberry). Rather thin and shows the off-flavors, not bad though.

My least favorite from Dundee’s summer variey pack. Nothing to remember here otther than the label of a dog as a busty waiter. Thin body, like most Dudee/Gennessee mass produced ales. Not offensive in any way, but nothing to rexommend it, either,

Dull golden, fast head. Bready malts and very mild spicy hopping. Flavor tended sweetish and biscuity, almost toffeeish with the same vinous character in some bocks. This detracted from what should have been clean crisp and drinkable, despite the label’s claims. Worth noting that the second half of the bottle was a respectable partner to giant burrito.
