2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 Jcb14 (11) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2012Great head with okay lacing. Average amber color, clear. Very mild aroma with a slight nutty hint. The taste was a little soapy tasting. A hop bitterness that was not a very good balance to the style. Smooth mouthfeel that lingered slightly. Overall an average to slightly below average Octoberfest.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 OKplus (355) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 14, 2013
A - Hazy dark brown with red highlights. 1 finger of light tan head
S - Rich toffee/caramel malt, very sweet and sugary.
T - Follows the nose with dense toffee/caramel malt. Grainy and tangy grass/straw flavors on the finish.
M - Full body, slighlty chewy feel.
Pretty one dimensional with the sweet malt dominating pretty much everything. But the sweetness works and I find myself wanting another one.

Clear amber appearance. Slight taste of pumpkin, nuts, and spices. Nice easy drinking.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Lemke10 (538) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
This was the first time I ever heard or seen of Dundee’s Oktoberfest so I had to give it a try. It pours a dark copper color with a thick head of foam. The scent is not very strong but it has a very full flavor that drinks very smooth. This is perhaps the best Oktoberfest I’ve had thus far. A must try!
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jeremyh70 (344) - Missouri, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Orange in color with light tan head, minimal lacing. Some caramel and slight hop aroma. Caramel and tropical fruit flavor, a little bitter. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin. Middle of the road marzen but drinkable. Had on camping trip at Wallace State Park with Chris.

Full bodied mouthfeel. Amber-golden color. Very typical Oktoberfest. Nothing special but a good overall märzen beer.

As someone who isnt as in love with many Oktoberfest fans here, I did enjoy this. Probably on par with Sam Adams Octoberfest. Has a nice strong taste to it, hints of caramel remind me of fall even though I had it now while we are at the end of December.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 thedm (4773) - Fort Wayne, USA - DEC 27, 2012
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a very large sized head of cascading foam finely sized bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent light cola brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was woody with a Vienna malt backing. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of Vienna malt mild hops and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

Bottle pours like a amber or so thin head semi waterery taste little fizz little sticky. Smells tastes caramel hay malt sweet small bit of spice. Not bad but not that good either. Has a small metallic taste lots of the Dundee has. Cheap beer with a little flavor. I guess that’s ok right you get what you pay for ?

The beer poured amber with a thick head. It had a neutral but malty taste with slight carbonation.
