The initial taste is one with a bit of body, followed by a tinge of cereal/maltiness on the pallete. An excellent American beer with a smooth honey finish. Most impressive was the well balanced nature of this particular beer, with a nice balance of full-bodiedness, combined with the smooth finish of something a bit less filling. The honey flavor makes this beer particularly special.

Just nothing special about this beer at all. It’s not offensive, by any means, but it does tend to leave the palate a bit dry. Not something I will drink again unless someone else is buying and I’m broke.

Not the best honey brown I’ve had, but was ok enough to have occasionally or party with.

Luckily I have never had one of the ’bad batches’, which this beer seems to be notorious for. Pleasant aroma and nice color, and the honey aftertaste has the potential to linger, which can be either bad or good depending on your preference. One of my favorite American beers that is not from a micro-brew.

Good solid lager. Not a top of the line and can be inconsistant. One of the lowest priced and still drinkable brews available. Good for general drinking where the focus is on food or conversation and the beer is an afterthought.

I remember when this stuff hit the market it was hyped big time by radio dj’s. It’s okay but there is better sauce on the market.
