The first beer i ever fell in love with. Now that it’s more popular however, the consistancy of appearance seems to vary

An average beer. Nothing special here. Don’t let the ’Honey’ in the name fool you into thinking it tastes good. There is no taste of honey at all, just a staunch aftertaste.

Just like Newcastle...way overrated.

It was OK. If I had more money I would buy more beer.

No sir, I don’t like it. Off-putting sweetness.

psark (54) - Binghamton, New York, USA - OCT 5, 2001
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2007 Cloying. Disappointing. Tastes like it was intentionally sweetened (with corn or rice syrup) after fermentation. Seems to have an excessive DMS (cooked vegetable) aroma.

I guess I expected this to be really sweet. It wasn’t. It had a semi-sweet aftertaste. Still, I won;t buy this again.

Homogenized character. Not particularly good or bad. If looking for a mass market type brown, opt for Newcastle.
