Drinks like a true lager, easy and crisp but fell short with any honey finish existing. Pours more amber/ golden color and smells much that of a light brown ale but again fell short on the finish for me.

I’m going to be up front about this, I hate lagers and pilsners in general. This beer holds a special place in my heart Cuz my dad drank it when I was a child before selling out and switching to labatt blue. That being said this is a pretty good lager and I would drink this over a lot of things any day.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: 1" sudsy head that quickly recedes leaving moderate lacing. Golden/amber color and some carbonation streaming up.
Aroma: maybe just a slight hint of hops but the sweetness of the toasted malt and honey are what dominate
Mouthfeel: watery, crisp, refreshing. Very sessionable. Fairly dry finish.
Flavor: toasted bread with honey
Overall: I quite enjoyed this beer. It is the first time I have ever tried it. It is certainly not a ’world class’ beer but it is perfectly fine for what it is -- a clean, refreshing, and enjoyable brew.

Big fucken can @ home courtesy of BlackIPA! Bazinga! I had this for the first time when I was a sophomore in college and my neighbor got a keg of this. I was pretty impressed by a "craft beer" keg, ha. Pours a clear copper appearance with an off white head. Toasted malty, lightly nutty, a bit metallic aroma. Somewhat watery, light caramel, metallic, lightly sweet flavor. Moderately easy to chug.

First of all, I question why this is called brown lager. It’s barely brown. It has a taste shy better away from Budweiser . Overpriced and overrated.
