12 oz bottle poured into a hard plastic cup at my sister’s wedding. Clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of honey, malt, wheat. Tastes of honey, toffee, light bitterness, syrup. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium-high carbonation. Slightly confusing name with "Honey Brown" being the prominent text on the label. Okay for what it is.

Smooth great taste not too sweet. Nice head, drinks best from beer glass with wide mouth. It has a strong taste, which I love.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2014 Rather thin beer with some honey flavor, although not so much sweetness. Fizzy carbonation is unpleasant but generally refreshing.

Very smooth, very nice taste. No unpleasant alcohol taste, can really smell the honey and taste it as well. It is very hard to find in my area, so I tend to look for it. One of my absolute favorites

Pours a dark copper color with a nice white head. Aroma is not very pleasing...mostly grainy and metal. Taste is a ton of honey on the backend with a surprising sweetness. Pretty good beer, if you can get past the smell.

It has a golden amber color with excellent clarity. The head is thick and white in color. It hangs on for a short time and recedes to a thin cap that leaves very little lacing. There is a sweet bread malt aroma with some honey. It has a simple bready malt flavor with some sweetness from the honey. The hops are light and add just a hint of bitterness to the finish, which is crisp and clean. The texture is refreshingly smooth with a light to medium body and an average carbonation.

Pleasantly surprised on this one. I didn't have high expectations after picking up a 12-pack for the same price as 6-packs of most other variety of beers at Walmart. The flavor is a good malt barley with some sweetness/honey. Off-white head, deep amber color, good lace.

As many times as I’ve had this in my life, I figure what a better day than to say something on this beer. This is coming from my notes. I’ve had this beer poured into a pint glass and a pilsener at various times in my life and there really isn’t much difference. The appearance was a nice golden amber to close to a brown color more so in the center. There was a one finger white foamy head that fizzles in about less than thirty seconds and leaves barely any lacing. The smell had a large amount of roasted caramel malts with a nice nuttiness about it. The taste was nutty and sweet and combined nicely. There’s a slight nutty aftertaste leading into a decent dry malty finish. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation is smooth and clean and inoffensive. Overall, this is not a bad beer at all, though it seems to have an identity crisis on just about every beer website one looks. For whatever style this beer truly is, its just an all around good beer. Try it, you might be surprised. Oh and I almost love having this beer with a steak.
