Got a bit of a sweetness to it, but is still horrible. Aroma of honey. Flavor is gross.

Bottle (12oz) shared with garthicus, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours a clear pale gold with a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma of corn, vegetables and grain -- yuck. Watery flavour of grain and a hint of fake sweet honey. Light bodied. Frigginí awful.

Part of a sample pack purchased in NYC. Most of the beers tasted the same. Nothiing stood out.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2009 A local favorite and our current house beer. Aroma is sweet with some filth and funk to it. Wimpy sweet and sour nose, watery body with a semi-sweet finish. Each Dundee has itís own individual redeeming qualities but all share a subtle nastiness that can only be the water of the Genesee river. Anyone who has been to Rochester, NY knows what Iím talking about. Would you drink that water? Then why would you drink the beer?

This was horrible stuff, maybe I got a bad bottle? Bottle from Americaís Backyard. Amber/brown colored beer with no real scent to speak of, a bit of grain. Tastes foul, where is the honey? Tastes like somebody added a tiny bit of caramel to a Budweiser and put a different label on the bottle. Stay away from this one.

The alcohol is not disguised at all in this brew. I beleive that is why there is no discernable honey taste to this at all. I can only taste hops and alcohol with a nasty aftertaste I canít quite put my finger on.

This is a bit sweeter than most American Darks, but definitely fits the style. Simply to much caramel to be refreshing or even desirable. I think I'd rather have a High Life than this, and certainly a Michelob Dark.

Not too thrilled about this one. Thank God I only paid $1 for the bomber. Pours a fizzy orange, no head retention, no lace, looks quite similar to carbonated apple juice. Smells like malts and lead shavings. Tastes like cheap malts, cheap sweetness that tastes empty, and not much like honey. I gots to say, this is pretty pathetic. I'm sure somebody gave it a 5, but that person ain't me. Slightly better than Natural Light and Busch.
