Deep golden color, and smooth, full-bodied taste with just a hint of honey on the palate.

No sir, I don’t like it. Off-putting sweetness.

I taste neither brown nor honey...all i taste is a watered down, inexplicably horrific burden.

Beer was boring. Pour was poor and there was little head. There was only slight flavour (sugar) and the aftertaste was simply none existing. Beer seemed watery and hard to put down.

Ugh. I don't feel like wasting my time describing this, but here I go. Amber color, small thin head, very weak honey aroma that is otherwise empty, bland flavor. Tiniest bit of maltiness present. This probably only sells because of the name. No real honey flavor. I hate this.

Honey colored with almost nonexistent head. Has weak but noticeable honey aroma. Not much honey in the flavor, however, or actually, not much flavor at all. No hop flavors noticed. Maybe a tinge of sweetness, but not even close to as sweet as other honey beers. Tasteless and flavor free--maybe also a slight tinge of acidic aftertaste--but that may just be the carbination. Terrible excuse for a beer.

16 oz aluminum bottle. Pours golden brown with a thin head that does not last very long. Almost no lacing. Aroma was sweet with significant amount of yeast. Initial taste was dirty. Not pleasant at all. There was some sweetness, which is to be expected. Very light bodied, with few redeeming qualities.

Sept 2006: from BA. Part of a Craft Beer of America pack, bought in the UK. This was by far the worst beer in the JW Dundee’s selection I have had. Poured into a Berliner Kindl straight glass, it looked sad, light brown and sickly. The smell was of off honey. It was a mish-mash of half flavours and nothingness, very disappointing, I just couldn’t find a good point. I do not know what the brewer is trying to do here, whatever it is, he has failed to impress me.

No head, looks like dark budweiser. Aroma is nearly nonexistant. Way too sweet for a beer. Flavor has nearly no complexity whatsoever. Palate does not exist. I wish I had got something decent to drink.
