Pours light gold/bud yellow with a white, well-laced head. Big malty aroma with some yeast in there. Taste is malt liquor and nothing else. This is not a Bock, it is too busy being a malt liquor. Pretty tasty for a malt liquor.

gift from my beer buddy cheap. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised by this brew. Golden pour, yellow, creamy white head. Taste was a malty, sweet caramel, still a little thin feel to it, but not bad. of course it was after work and I really needed a brew.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2014 Pours dark gold with white head. Sweet, slightly spicy scent with light malt aroma. Taste okay with mild malt pronunciation. Nothing special.

Bottle; poured a clear dull gold with an off white head. Aroma of corn, cornbread, sweet malt, and a touch of grass. Fairly soft on the palate with a decent sweetness. Corn and a touch of earth/grass. Decent for the style.

Bottle. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Clear brassy gold with a large white head. Sweet grainy corn malt and odd quinine flavor. Light body, average carbonation.

pours a clear golden color with a thick fluffy white head. the aroma is sweet malts and sugar and don’t really pick up any hops. the taste is sweet up front with a mild hop kick in it but the aftertaste is where this beer went south. the aftertaste is sorta like a rotten fruit. this was my first beer by this brewery and i wasn’t overly impressed.

Aroma is all malts. Taste is very sweet and just enough character. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

Bottle shared by Bob, syrupy sweet malt and caramel mess. Taste is similar, watery and bland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dimpled mug. Notes of malts and hay, sorta sweet. Light brown, minimal head, very little lacing. Taste is sweet, malts, gets foamy in your mouth. Pretty meh beer.

Tasted from a 12oz brown bottle into a nonic glass, thanks John! It poured a clear golden amber colour with deep, sudsy white foam and lots of lace. Nice appearance, but bland aromas and flavours. Soft malt-sweetness, hint of caramel, but almost no trace of hops, seemed a bit mushy and mass-produced. Light body, strong carbonation, sticky mouthfeel, too sweet aftertaste.
