COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Legend has it in 1840, a monk smuggled lager yeast into Bohemia, setting the stage for the first pilsner; even now the tradation continues. We brew this pilsner with the noblest of saaz and to this we add premium German pilsner malt. This rich crisp taste has a finish so smooth that it deserves an encore, PROST!!

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small bit of head that disappears quickly. Aroma of light citrus hops and a little biscuit malt. Taste is very light bitter. Small citrus hops. Little bit of a lime taste. Light bodied and thin textured. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, it’s ok. Nothing really special. I’m still yet to find a Dundee beer that really stands out. If nothing else, it’s a good intro to craft for BMC drinkers.

Golden with a nice white head. A decent helping of grassy hops over a bit of grain and a touch of sweetness. Finish has a light but noticeable bite to it. Surprisingly clean. Not too shabby.

Crushed with TheRon. Pours golden with basically no head. Nice hoppy bite on the nose. Bitter, malt and grassy in the flavor. Good balance. Pretty nice.

Very pale yellow/straw color with a foamy head. Floral leathery aroma. Crisp finish without much flavor. Maybe a hint of maltiness.

translucent gold with a thin white head; medium-thin body with high carbonation.

aroma: biscuity pale malt, piney citrusy hops.

taste: piney citrus hops, pretzely malt, orange blossom honey, and minerality. even has a hint of belgian wit orange peel.

in a blind tasting, i’d call this an american pale ale.

Pour is a bright gold with a large white head. Aroma is almost nothing maybe some grassy hops in there. Flavor is suprisingly better with a decent dry pils malt and again some saaz hop toward the end. Not going to be a world beater but this was a decent pils.

JB traded with me at the Islands this year so that I could sample this. Very light golden pour with almost no white head. Light hop aroma. Light body, crisp slightly citrus hop flavor with some sweet biscuit malt finish. OK, but nothing special.
