2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This pils poured a slightly cloudy, very light yellow colour with a quickly living, bright white head. Scents include honey, malt and bread. First sip was lightly carbonated, slightly thin with flavours of honey, light corn and cereal. Finish is grainy with light hop/bitterness lingering on the palate.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 12/8/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Moderate earthy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good balance and robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Nicely clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good German pilsner style. All around good balance and robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
355ml twist off bottle. Clear gold pour, fizzy white head. Fairly bland aroma, floral hops and pears. Flavor is strangely fruity, like froot loops fruity, sweet lemon lime and citrus, its unoffensive but is not reminiscent of a pilsener.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Always glad to see when an obvious contract brew is done by Genessee as I feel like they tend to do a decent job of it. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. This bills itself as a pilsener but is really more along the lines of an American blond as far as taste goes. It is a golden beer w/ a white head and nice sheets of lace. The nose is pretty bland, just a bit of toasty malt and some vague fruity citrus flavors seemingly from hops. This is simply sweet rather than malty and as such feels a bit heavy on the palate despite somewhat vigorous carbonation. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this beer, just something clean and drinkable, and I didn’t even get that.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor haveppilsner malts, crackers, mild noble hops with some lemony citrus, ok, but I wouldn’t revisit this again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured a clear pale color with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Medium floral hop and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. This beer just met my expectations.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle to half-pint. Looks solid; a transparent gold with foamy white head. Smells of pilsner malt, mild hops, and lager yeast. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Not much of a pilsner snap, but not bad, and definitely exceeded my expectations.
