Bottle: Brown pour with a ruby hue and a tan head that fades. Mild aromatics- mild chocolate notes with a touch of soy sauce character. Silky and fluffy on the palate. Decent malt flavor- mild soft roast with a decent chocolate malt presence and a mild smoky note. Rounded malt flavors overall. Simple but with no major flaws.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 crazyvin (1536) - New York, USA - JUN 1, 2009
poured an opaque brownish-red hue with a tan head that had good retention and nice lacing. Aroma had a mild sense of roasted coffee and a moderate cocoa note. Flavor was similar but did have a nice almost smokey note to it. A creamy body that was a little on the light side, but still good.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Soonah (1120) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - MAY 21, 2009
Poured a dark brown with lots of ruby streaming through. A short little off-white head formed and was gone in a flash. The aroma was roasted malt, and some smoke. Had a tough time finding much sweetness or chocolate. The flavor was dry roasted malt, light smoke and thin caramel. The mouthfeel was on the thin side with an unfortunate sour, acidic finish. Not very good.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 RSRIZZO (1634) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 10, 2009
(Bottle courtesy of Headbanger) - Color is near black with good carbonation and a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is deeply roasted. Starts with a bold medium body that goes down with tangy feel. Finish is a roasted coffee like taste with a mild bitterness. In the after taste there is a kiss of sweetness then a lingering burnt bitterness. This is a darn tasty Porter, I was not expecting it to be this good. This is the best brew Dundee has made so far.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jerc (5444) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 26, 2009
2009-04-26. Black body with a modest foamy tan head. Aroma is standard porter with sweetish fruity undertones, modestly roasty. Flavour is simple but pleasant, sweet malt, light roasty touches, very subtle sweet fruit undertones. Palate is average to medium bodied. Surprisingly decent! Head and shoulders above the rest of their line up that I have tried so far! Not mind blowing but plainly quaffable. Bottle from Premier Gourmet, Buffalo
