12oz bottle, this one is dark brown, not quite black, i thought it tasted pretty darn good, but was very thin, and didnt really have much in the way of smell other than roast, not even coffee or chocolate.

Bottle. Pours dark brown, almost black. Tan fizzy head. Smells roasty, almost smokey. Tastes of roasted coffee and a hint of chocolate. Kinda thin, somewhat watered down. Like other Dundee beers, lacks body and not as rich as other beers in the same category.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 JMerritt (1568) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - OCT 24, 2008
Dark brown, bordering on black, with red tints. Huge frothy, light-brown head that is slowly and partially
diminishing down to a pillowy softness. Big chocolate malt aroma, subtly spicy, with a slightly musty,
cobwebby yeastiness and dried fruit sugary sweetness. Flavor surprisingly bland, big metallic notes with low
roast and light sweet toffee. Finish is light bodied and as light in flavor leave a slight plummy sweetness.
Dammit. Cocktease in a bottle.
