3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 nike (500) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 2, 2011
A pleasant surprise, I was expecting a lot less. For a porter, it was mild, but had a decent roasted malt and caramel, maybe hints of coco. Still, thin, watery, but smooth taste. I was surprised it was 6.5%abv.

Dark brown pour, light brown head. Aroma is sweet, cocoa, coffee, prunes. Flavor is sweet and a bit sugary. Not really much of a porter to speak of. Not at bad as I thought it might be.

12oz bottle from a sampler case. Pours a dark mahogany with a thin tan head. Nose of roast malt and hops. Very silky, full mouthfeel. Taste of coffee, toffee and sweet malt, but with enough hops to balance it out. A very nice, easy drinking porter. Well done.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jcweaver (367) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Bottle. Pours brown with a medium beige head. Very little nose, just a slight aroma of roasted malts. Flavor is sweet with mostly roasted malt/grain notes. Possibly some chocolate/coffee notes. Not bad, but as usual for Dundee, thin and watery.

Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, roast malt, and a hint of chocolate. Flavor is malty, light roast, earthy, light smoke, bitter toward the finish.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Onionkid (224) - Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA - SEP 14, 2011
Bottle. Roasted caramel aroma. Similar taste, bit chalky and slightly watery. Pretty decent porter, especially considering the price - you’ve got to love Dundees for being so cheap! 6.5% alcohol.
1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 oobawa (549) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 29, 2011
Rivals Pale Bock Lager as the worst in the mix pack. Smells modestly of roasted malt, but the nose gets dominated by cheap bubbly nothingness. Pours like Diet RC Cola, with a head that lasts even less time. The taste is as far from a Robust Porter as a brew can get. Malty and English yet totally bland, mass-produced American fare, this beer is not not to be missed. (7/08)
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 nearbeer (2572) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 29, 2011
12 oz. Opaque chocolate with a quick head. Nose is alcohol and dark fruit, almost like a quad. Flavor is roast, dark cherry, prune and the alcohol of a 12% abv beer. Medium body is tingly with alcohol, carbonation, and acidic roast. Definitely a unique porter, but not much to my liking.
