Thanks to jjfoodie for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a brown-red color with a tan head. The aroma is heavy on the toffee. The flavor is a mix of toffee, dirt, earthy hops as well as some chocolate and smoke. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. One of the better Dundee beers, but still nothing too special.

Bottle. Pours very dark red with a 2-finger brown head. Aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, and caramel. Very roasty flavor, toffee, slight bitter hops, and some ethanol. Medium carbonation, and a little thin for the style. Alright.

Malt and smoke on aroma. malt and smoke on the taste. Water on finish. A porter but a weak uninspiring one.

11/25/2009 and 11/26/2009: Dundee Porter... Looks like a standard porter and has a good chocolate and slightly roasty aroma and flavor; a touch sweet, but it goes down easily; decent overall.
12 fl. oz. bottle. Rating #237 for this beer.

This beer tasted like cocoa, coffee. It was slightly floral, had a decent body, was a little bitter.

Ruby tinted deep brown beer with a thin tan-brown head. The nose is nutty with a nice dark maltiness. A bit of cocoa and light cola sweetness. Sweet but only moderately bodied. More herbal/spicy than chocolate/coffee. A little bit of light licorice and even a touch of smokiness. It’s not the greatest porter, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
