COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark and Drinkable. A smooth and classic sweet stout. This dark rich brew is a combination of roasted malts and hops that bring the chocolate and coffee flavors to life.

Letís say you up and decide to throw a wooden barrel of ale in a public display of manliness (I know, just go with it). How then to celebrate? Hint: Youíre holding the answer. Thatís right, a Dundee Stout. "Stout" is, after all, what brewers have been calling the darkest, heaviest and "burliest" of their ales since 18th century England. That said, ours is sweet, creamy and ironically, pretty light in texture. So maybe the tough partís not lifting it after all. The tough partís putting it down once you have. Go figure.

Aged in cellar for 8 months.. Weak, boring, short finish. Bad idea.. Drink fresh ! Even drinking fresh is a bad idea.. Very bland boring stout.. I guess people only buy it cause its cheap :( does Dundee even make a beer they are proud of ?

Tasted from a 12oz brown bottle into a nonic pint glass. It poured a dark brown colour with weak beige foam. Too sweet, way too caramelly, not nearly toasty or roasty enough. Medium body and carbonation, thin mouthfeel, some oxidized, soy-sauce notes in the aftertaste. I love stouts, even the cheap, mass-produced ones, but this isnít a good one.

Bottle. Pours a somewhat thin very dark brown with almost no head on it. Nose is almost a little sour, like there is some dark fruit and black licorice in there, with minimal roasting. Taste is much the same, and almost a little sweet in a bad way. Not a good stout.
