Surprisingly delicious. Not too sweet but much like a lemonade. Sight slight ginger note to this lemony shandy.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw yellow body with a short lived fizzy white head. The nose is Lemon Pledge with a bit of lemonade sweetness and not a whole lot else. It tastes like most Shandy beers, more like lemonade than beer. Sweet and sugary with a little lemony tartness up front. Can’t really taste anything in the way of malt. Light bodied and super fizzy with a lingering lemonade finish. Not sure what the deal is with all these Shandy beers, I just don’t see the appeal.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. I finally allowed myself to try thise fruit drink. Of course, after a run, so I finish it quickly. Lemon aroma was ok. The fruity lemonade drink was refreshing. Not really a beer though.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a moderate white head that barely made it to the first sip and left no lace. The aroma is more like Sprite or 7Up than lemon or lemonade. No detectable malt in the aroma. The flavor allows a few malt notes to come through but is dominated by the Sprite/7Up flavor. I enjoy a nice shandy and this one is refreshing as a beverage. I jut wish it was a little less sodapoppish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is mostly lemon with some wheat in the background. It has a light, watery texture with average carbonation. The taste is sweet and refreshing with a quick finish. A good beer for the style.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ Presidential Suite. Clear golden pour with a white head. Smells like lemonade for the most part. A bit of 7 Up, too. A little bread and grain. Sweet 7 Up and lemonade flavor. Bitter grass and grain husk. A bit thin, not surprisingly. A little green apple tartness.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Thanks to BoostIPA, apparently . Tasted at RBSG grand tasting post-tasting. Mostly clear golden color. Thin off-white head, leaves decent bits of lace. Good smooth lemon flavor, I dig it. Moderate sweet taste, light zesty. Dry finish. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Lighter body. Solid shandy. I dig it.
