beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Dec 9, 2008 Sampled on 12/9/2008. This wheat beer pours a medium gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with nice retention and decent lacing. The aroma is fairly mild, touch of cereal, some spicy hops. A medium to light bodied wheat beer. The malts are cereal and grain. The hops are slightly spicy and a touch floral. Not a lot of banana and clove flavors, if any at all. Kind of mild, boring and inoffensive tasting, but nothing offensive or off. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA Dec 1, 2008 12 ounce bottle from the mixpack. Solid wheat taste. Nice acidic fruit bite. Decent beer. Would not buy again 1010 (206), Marysville, Ohio, USA Nov 30, 2008 Pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head.
Smells of citrus and othe fruits
Not much depth to the taste. Initial taste of citrus is all you get. Rynoplasty (500), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Nov 27, 2008 Bland fairly boring light wheat beer. Very light wheat malt aroma and flavor. Not much going on in this one. WakeandBake (422), Greenville, Michigan, USA Nov 27, 2008 Part of the craft sampler pack.A cloudy goldish tan appearance, with a fluffy white head. Aroma of bananna, citrus, and wheat.Flavor was the same as the aroma, bananna a hint of clove and some citrus notes. Thin mouthfeel, good carbonation, crisp finish,Drinkable but not the best
BBB63 (4199), La Porte, Indiana, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle, clean golden hue with a lasting frothy head and some lace. The aroma has notes of wheat and pale malt, dirty yeast esters and very little fruit or spice esters normally associated with a good wheat beer. The taste is equally mundane with mild wheat husks and grains, some honey and corn, little else. The mouth feel is sprite and thin. Weeee, another paint-by-numbers pathetic American Wheat. TheBeerGod (3143), Newport News, Virginia, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy gold with a sturdy, foamy white head. Nose is wheat, grains, light lemon and soft hops. Taste is slightly bitter but more on the sweet side with light lemon and hops, sweet malts, grains, and some corn syrup notes. Body is light and refreshing with soft carbonation. Goes down smooth and easy. Finishes with more sweet malts, corny notes, light lemon, grains and soft hops. Not bad. mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle from BevMo. Slightly hazy golden in color. Grainy aroma. Some breadiness. Dry crisp wheat flavor. Drinkable but fairly bland. 2.6
