2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 elihapa (1369) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - MAY 13, 2009
Sipped from bottle. Aroma is faint, wheaty, malty, nothing much. Flavor is muddy, overall. There is certainly wheat and grain, but nothing jumps at you. At best, a cheaper “craft” offering for summer session drinking.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 RSRIZZO (1634) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 10, 2009
(Bottle courtesy of Headbanger) - Color is a hazy yellow gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Aroma of grain and honey. Taste is light and metallic. Starting with a light body it goes down easy and crisp. Finish is a lightly sweet malted wheat and honey taste backed by a hint of lemon. After taste is a little bland and dry leaving you with a slight metallic taste. Overall its a little weak but it is easy to drink.

Aroma: Grainy, with notes of clove. No banana present. Flavor: Mostly clove on the palate. No banana again. Palate: Light body with good carbonation and a watery mouthfeel. Overall: More like some kind of plain ale than a Hefe. Not very good.
Earlier Rating: 11/3/2008 Total Score: 1.5 Bottle. Poured a clear...yes clear yellow with a two finger white head. Citrus and wheat aroma. Flavor was water.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 blankboy (4288) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 4, 2009
Bottle (12oz) shared with garthicus, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with lots of floaties and a small diminishing white head. Aroma, which is quite mild, of wheat, grain, a hint of spices and citrus -- boring. Watery flavour follows the aroma -- it’s not very flavourful. Light to average bodied. Pretty useless, it’s too dull to drink.
