troyc (1173), Lubbock, Texas, USA Dec 21, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a yellow color with a slight haze and a medium-sized white head. Aroma of wheat malt and yeast. Not much in the way of fruit notes or spice. Light hoppy finish. Light palate and lively carbonation. It’s all right. freekyp (900), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA Nov 22, 2007 Pours a hazy gold with a mid-sized quickly dissipating white head. Banana and clove notes are noticeable absent. Slight wheaty aroma. Nice lightly hopped finish with just a touch of bitterness on the sides of the tongue. Decent summery brew, but not a hefeweizen by any stretch of the imagination. llcooldave (309), San Antonio, Texas, USA Nov 21, 2007 Cloudy in appearance and honey in color, head dissapeared rather quickly but left a nice lacing. I’m drinking this without the cusomary lemon slice but it has a slight citrus bitterness all on it’s own. It probably would be helped with a lemon wedge. Aroma is barely detectable but a touch of malt is coming though. Overall I’d guess I’d say I’ve had better Hefe’s. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia Nov 19, 2007 Not quite sure how this one comes down as a heffe. Pours a golden clean, nothing murky or hazy yellow about it. Head isn’t creamy either, nor do I smell clove or banana. Aroma is water, sugar and light malt. Taste is same with a little hops to it. I don’t get this one. Strykzone (1459), Wood River, Illinois, USA Nov 17, 2007 Nice looking wheat beer with a golden cloudy body and a nice full white head. Aroma is also nice but thin. If you try real hard you can find some banana and spice but you have to work at it. I was very surprised to see a wheat beer rated a 16% but this is the weakest one i have sampled. Nothing about it is offensive but the flavors are subdued. It deserves the low rating. Airlifter (116), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Nov 12, 2007 Pours a dirty yellow color with lots of cloudiness and quite a bit of white head. Aroma is malty. Flavor is bitter, with a hint of malt and some citrus. Nothing special about this one. Codythegreat (139), Carrollton, Georgia, USA Nov 12, 2007 Pours a dark yellow, hazy colour with a white haed that discipates quickly. Smells of honey. A pretty good tasting wheat ale but I have had better (Paulaner Hefeweissen). A little bit of a citrusy aftertaste. I drank this out of a lager glass because that is the closest thing I have to a Weissen. BelgianBeerGal (1277), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Nov 9, 2007 Bottle poured into shaker. Slightly hazy goulden colour with good carbonation. No real head, just a ring around the top. Slight banana and hop aroma. Flavour dominated by hops. Refreshing but a little bland.
