PilsnerPeter (2586), Flushing, New York, USA Jun 8, 2009 Bottle: Hazy golden with a consistent off white film. Sweet aroma- honeyish and simple. Light fizzy body. Flavor is less sweet than the aroma suggests. a bit papery with stale bread character and a touch of honey. Not much bitterness. Eh. JoeMcPhee (4893), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jun 7, 2009 Very pale white-yellow colour. Aroma is lightly wheaty and little else. There is a kiss of light citrus and a bit of soft herbal character. Almost no flavour at all really, wheat malt and nothing else, but I could see pounding these on a hot summer’s day... actually, that pretty much describes today. dkachur (2318), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jun 2, 2009 12 ounce bottle from a sampler. Pours a hazy lemon orange color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Boring aroma of bread and yeast. Hardly any fruit or spice notes. Taste is bread, very light citrus, yeast and a fair bit of spice. Much better than the aroma. Body is a bit on the thin side. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2009

garthicus (1216), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 20, 2009 Shared by Jerc and Mabel with Blankboy and I. Appearance: Straw yellow, slight flecks, small white head. Aroma, grassy, mild mild lemon. Flavour: Grass, oats, butter, Meh elihapa (1033), Honolulu, California, USA May 13, 2009 Sipped from bottle. Aroma is faint, wheaty, malty, nothing much. Flavor is muddy, overall. There is certainly wheat and grain, but nothing jumps at you. At best, a cheaper “craft” offering for summer session drinking. RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA May 10, 2009 (Bottle courtesy of Headbanger) - Color is a hazy yellow gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Aroma of grain and honey. Taste is light and metallic. Starting with a light body it goes down easy and crisp. Finish is a lightly sweet malted wheat and honey taste backed by a hint of lemon. After taste is a little bland and dry leaving you with a slight metallic taste. Overall its a little weak but it is easy to drink. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA May 6, 2009 Source: 12 oz bottle from a sixer purchased at Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Glass: Poured into a standard pint glass. Appearance: Poured a clear gold color with a one finger white head. Aroma: Grainy, with notes of clove. No banana present. Flavor: Mostly clove on the palate. No banana again. Palate: Light body with good carbonation and a watery mouthfeel. Overall: More like some kind of plain ale than a Hefe. Not very good.
