blankboy (3157), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 4, 2009 Bottle (12oz) shared with garthicus, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with lots of floaties and a small diminishing white head. Aroma, which is quite mild, of wheat, grain, a hint of spices and citrus -- boring. Watery flavour follows the aroma -- it’s not very flavourful. Light to average bodied. Pretty useless, it’s too dull to drink. aguyintx66 (78), Humble, Texas, USA Apr 28, 2009 Bottle. Poured a cloudy gold color with a white head. Aroma of grass and citrous. Has a weak wheat flavor with a lemon finish. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 22, 2009 2009-04-21. Bright pee yellow, small off-white head. Muted grassy aroma, muted pale malt. Flavour is likewise muted, light grassy grainy bitterness. Average palate borders on thin. Boringly inoffensive. Bottle from Premier Gourmet yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Apr 16, 2009 12 fl oz bottle from a taster pack
Cloudy gold colour with a nice white head. Aroma is light, cloves and grapefruit. Taste is not very wheaty as most but is quite refreshing. The palate is clean with a nice spiciness jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Apr 16, 2009 (bottle). Pours a gold color. Small white head. Wheat and grain aroma, with a wheat taste. Smooth and watery finish. Soft carbonation. curly (548), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Apr 14, 2009 Pours murky yellow gold with a very thin white head. Not much wheat aroma, more of a must. Very fizzy in the mouth and has a very dirty taste, also has a metallic lingering finish. nuplastikk (1157), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Apr 11, 2009 12oz bottle. This is about as good Crocodile Dundee 3 would’ve been/is. Forced, unnatural, and unnecessary. Pale hazy golden-tan color. Macro adjuncty aromas cancel out any potential hefe-niceness. Crisp, sugary stuff. Drinkable as far as swill goes, Hefe-yeast really does rescue all. Way below par, non-completists avoid. aaronhaywood (74), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Apr 9, 2009 Extremely disappointing. This has nothing on Boulevard. This seemed watered down and not filling at all which is what I expect out of a wheat.
