| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 21, 2006 Bottle at the Hagerstown Suns Beer Tasting... Cloudy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Other than a little apricot in the nose, I detect no esters or phenols normally associated with the style. Nice flavor... good balance. Grainy with a small hop bite. Light-bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Better than expected. More of an American wheat than a hefeweizen... but I now see that’s exactly the way it’s categorized on this website. Good call Ratebeer admins or Metalhead! jcwattsrugger (5250), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is light/medium malt, floral-coriander, maybe some honey. Taste starts thin, mid taste light/medium malt, floral-coriander, maybe some honey, finishes floral/seltzery. No banana/clove. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Very pale white-yellow colour. Aroma is lightly wheaty and little else. There is a kiss of light citrus and a bit of soft herbal character. Almost no flavour at all really, wheat malt and nothing else, but I could see pounding these on a hot summer’s day... actually, that pretty much describes today. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 24, 2006 For an "unfiltered wheat" (from the commercial description), this sure pours a clear golden body. Nice thick head... for a while. It smells of toasted wheat, honeycomb, and lemon zest. The flavor retains the toasted wheat but gains the bitterness one experiences when accidentally crunching on an orange pip. The brewer really thinks this is a hefeweizen?

Aromas of wheat, pale malt and hints of floral hops and lemongrass. Wheat, light honey and lemon in the flavors. Simple wheat/american ale. Quite typical and boring.
