COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style unfiltered wheat beer. Pale straw in color, our Hefeweizen exhibits a light cloudiness from carefully selected wheat and yeast. With its spicy wheat malt aroma and crisp hop finish our Hefeweizen is a light, pleasantly flavorful beer ideal for warmer weather.

12oz bottle-pours a white head that dissipates to a ring and hazed gold color. Aroma is light/medium malt, floral-coriander, maybe some honey. Taste starts thin, mid taste light/medium malt, floral-coriander, maybe some honey, finishes floral/seltzery. No banana/clove.

Bottle at the Hagerstown Suns Beer Tasting... Cloudy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Other than a little apricot in the nose, I detect no esters or phenols normally associated with the style. Nice flavor... good balance. Grainy with a small hop bite. Light-bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Better than expected. More of an American wheat than a hefeweizen... but I now see that’s exactly the way it’s categorized on this website. Good call Ratebeer admins or Metalhead!

Bottle from a mixed box at the Roseville, CA BevMo. Pours hazy/dirty light gold with a slight white head. Aroma is mildly citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is citrus with some underlying breadiness. Finishes rather crisp. Better than anticipated.

Bottle from sampler set from Kroger. Poured clear yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Light to medium sour flavor with a light to medium acidic finish of short duration. I would not recommend this to a freind.

Very pale white-yellow colour. Aroma is lightly wheaty and little else. There is a kiss of light citrus and a bit of soft herbal character. Almost no flavour at all really, wheat malt and nothing else, but I could see pounding these on a hot summer’s day... actually, that pretty much describes today.

Bottle. Pours with a small white head that goes rapidly over a hazed yellow body. No lace. Aroma of wheat, lightly spicy malt, honey and light citrus zest. Taste is pretty boring and watery with malt, honey, cardboard, cereal, light fruity esters and a touch of citrus. Fizzy and dry.
