Commercial Description:
An American style unfiltered wheat beer. Pale straw in color, our Hefeweizen exhibits a light cloudiness from carefully selected wheat and yeast. With its spicy wheat malt aroma and crisp hop finish our Hefeweizen is a light, pleasantly flavorful beer ideal for warmer weather.

Bottle: Poured a yellow color with not much head. The aroma was malts and yeast. The flavor was weak, some yeast and citrus. Mostly malts and unbalanced flavor. Overall, not impressed.

Pours a slightly hazy caramel-amber with virtually no head. Smells a tad grassy. Smooth in the mouth and carries a little bit of a sweet caramel flavor. There’s also a little bit of an aftertaste. It’s not bad but nothing special.

JW Dundee’s Hefeweizen is a slightly cloudy, very sparkling light golden ale with a thin white head that leaves nice lacing. It has a very fresh aroma that seems to come mostly from the hops. It’s citrusy with a little bit of biscuit. It is pretty light bodied, very crisp and quite smooth. The flavor is very mellow, but bright and lemony. It’s a total American Wheat-- hardly a Hefeweizen. There is a little bitterness at the end of the taste and the hops match the flavor of the wheat very well. It’s very refreshing!

Nose: malty, sugarwheat and banana. Pours a golden colour beer. Some carbonation, maltybanana, bit of wheat. Artificial sweet taste that is off-putting.

sampler- a nice example of the style- smooth, easy drinking, with some esters going on as well as that characteristic american wheat yeasty flavor.

Pours a pale cloudy yellow with a fairly thick weizen head. No detectable wheat or yeast in the aroma; maybe a little lemon zest. Taste is refreshing, but not in a weizen way. Taste is more like a pale wheat ale. It gets the job done on a hot day, but it’s not a weizen.

Grainy amber color with quick diminishing head. Well carbonated. Earthy malt aroma hints of pepper. Light citrus Not much hop character. Malt flavor is a little overwhelming needs a grain bite, a little more crisp.
