Commercial Description:
An American style unfiltered wheat beer. Pale straw in color, our Hefeweizen exhibits a light cloudiness from carefully selected wheat and yeast. With its spicy wheat malt aroma and crisp hop finish our Hefeweizen is a light, pleasantly flavorful beer ideal for warmer weather.

Bottle from sampler set from Kroger. Poured clear yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Light to medium sour flavor with a light to medium acidic finish of short duration. I would not recommend this to a freind.

Hazy dark strawish pour with aroma of slight hopcitrus, some lemongrassy malt, and slight spicy notes. Medium to light palate heft, with some hopcitrus, lemony hints, and mild fruit. Not a great hefe.

Bright gold body that is perfectly clear of any of that distracting yeast. We wouldn’t want any character in our beer now, would we? The aroma is strong diacetyl with some bananas hiding behind that character. The taste is like butterscotch candy mixed with cheap margarine. Not much else going on in this mess.

Bottle, clean golden hue with a lasting frothy head and some lace. The aroma has notes of wheat and pale malt, dirty yeast esters and very little fruit or spice esters normally associated with a good wheat beer. The taste is equally mundane with mild wheat husks and grains, some honey and corn, little else. The mouth feel is sprite and thin. Weeee, another paint-by-numbers pathetic American Wheat.

Good foam on white and orange body, unfiltered and cloudy, and some creaminess in mouthfeel. Lageriosh taste, a tad grassy, a tad citus, but well malted down. Caramel. Wheaty aroma. Average hefe but above average beer. A decent beverage with lunch. Not a bad one.

Sampled on 12/9/2008. This wheat beer pours a medium gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with nice retention and decent lacing. The aroma is fairly mild, touch of cereal, some spicy hops. A medium to light bodied wheat beer. The malts are cereal and grain. The hops are slightly spicy and a touch floral. Not a lot of banana and clove flavors, if any at all. Kind of mild, boring and inoffensive tasting, but nothing offensive or off. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

2009-04-21. Bright pee yellow, small off-white head. Muted grassy aroma, muted pale malt. Flavour is likewise muted, light grassy grainy bitterness. Average palate borders on thin. Boringly inoffensive. Bottle from Premier Gourmet

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a slightly hazy typically carbonated dark yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The aroma was hoppy malty bready and dough. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops and dough. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
