Sour wheat malt aroma balanced by gentle citrusy US hops. Hazy dark gold covered by thin white. Spicy and sour wheat malt flavour with some lemony bitterness. A small herbal, coriander note. Light body, medium carbonation, slightly herbal bitter finish. Quite drinkable and refreshing, but boring.

May 9, 2008 Quite possibly the worst hefe I have ever had. Nearly flavorless and a palate that was like sandpaper. None of the redeeming flavor profiles one would want in a hefe.

Jun 5, 2006 From a 12 oz. twist cap long neck brown bottle with no freshness date.
Made an average appearance, poured a slightly hazy yellow golden with a foamy white head that quickly settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking, good carbonation.
Didn’t have much of hefe weizen nose, faint hints of lemon and doughy maltiness.
Just a light crisp from the malts, smooth, watery thin medium bodied mouth feel, poor drinkability.
Watery tasting with some macro lager qualities, watery lemon and banana, a macro lager maltiness and dryish lager finish.
Well, this is the worst hefe weizen I have ever sampled, a poor representation of the style.

Jul 4, 2009 slightly hazed brownish golden pour with a short lived whitish head.
not much on the nose... dusty, orange, earth and maybe some spice.
the flavor is the same... with a straw-like dry finish...pretty dull.
the body is somewhat watery though the carbonation feels a little creamy at times.
it is not bad... there just isn’t a whole lot happening. 5/3/5/2/10/2.5

Mar 9, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy orange with almost no head. Aromas are of honey and wet wheat and are just not very appealing. Flavor is about the same. The laughable part of this is the "Hefeweizen" on the bottle.

Dec 26, 2009 Clear light yellow color with no head. Aroma has faint wheat and citrus. Flavor is light bitterness, some light wheat. Bland.

Dec 21, 2007 I was dissapointed with this hefeweizen. Banana and clove notes seem to not be present, which makes this seem like a basic wheat beer.....I barely seen any yeast at the bottom of bottle....If a brew of mine tasted like this, I would hae assumed something had gone wrong. If this was in a basic wheat catagory, rating would have been better....

Feb 8, 2009 I rather enjoyed this wheat. I realize it hasn’t gotten rave reviews, but as far as I’m concerned, it can hold it’s own.
