Had on tap poured a clear yellow with a touch of hops and malts in the aromma. Not much flavor, some biscuits, honey and some sweet malts. nothing too special.

A: poured into a snifter. pours a straw yellow with slight amounts of sediment. pours a nice white head that recedes after a while. good amount of lacing. S: sweet aroma of grain. in some unusual way it reminds me of breakfast. T: some honey tones from the sweet malts. decent bitters from the hops, but nothing that reaches out and grabs you, which is hit and miss with the Kolsch style. slight metallic tones in this as well, which is turning me off. M: leaves the mouth a little dry, and the palate a little bitter. has somewhat of a chalky aftertaste. D: its a good session beer if you are into Kolsch beers. I am not a huge fan of the style, but I do respect it. There are other Kolsch beers that I prefer, but it isn’t a bad beer either.

Draft at redlight redlight. Pours yellow, but with a decent creamy head and fine translucency. Nice nose with aromas of golden malts and hints of honey and berries. Flavor is a little flat but it has a decent finish of hay and brite malts. pretty smooth. not great but decent session beer for sure.

kramer (3457) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2010
On tap, at brewery, RBWG 2010. Clear pale yellow body with a small wispy white head. Some light perfume like hops and light crackery malt on the nose. Light flavor as well, a little bit of hops in there, along with some bready malt. Mouthfeel is light and fizzy with some lingering light maltiness. Pretty meh, a little too limp on the finish, it needed a little snap.

Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2010
A golden ale with a thin creamy and lacing white head. A rather grainy mashed malt aroma with nice wafting British hops. In mouth, the same very grainy malt taste, British hops, oily mouthfeel more interesting than expected. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, May 23 2010.

Dickinsonbeer (5076) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 18, 2010
Tap at Dunedin at RBWG 2010 bus tour. Pours light gold with ok white head. Aroma is a bit of a mess here- oxidized light crackery malts, some baby diaper, and isovaleric acid, DMS, sulfur, corn, grass and cracker some dough- wow- way off. Flavor is similar, creamed corn, some cabbage, massive DMS- sharp peppers as well, phenolic, solvent, and harsh toast in the end- wow- lots of off things here.
