3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had at the brewery on tap. A typical hefeweizen style beer with some cloudiness to the color and light white head. A little raw wheat note, and a bit of spice to it, not much on the nose. It’s pretty easy drinking, and a typical hefe.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
...had it on tap from the brewery a while back. I don’t remember much about it, but I kinda thought it was too light on the wheat notes. I’d have to have it again to accurately rate it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft at brewery, pours a nice golden yellow color, aromas of light clove, banana, wheat and a touch of bubble gum. Flavors are wheat, and banana, light spice and earth in the aftertaste. Light and refreshing, glad this one was on before we went to the beach.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured up on tap at the Dunedin brewpub with deep opaque gold body and near bright white head. The aroma offers up the standard hefe players with cloves, wheat notes, banana and a bit of bubble gum. The taste is bold with spicy cloves, wheated malt notes and banana. Mixing with these notes is a pleasing yet wafer thin layer of lemon like acidity that is able to knife through the sweeter notes. Wow, full flavored, kind of on the sweet side, fresh hefe.
