Strong aroma of honey begins this brew. The color is a thick pale golden with honey colored tint. Mostly flat. Flavor is strong honey, sweet, then it falls pretty fat. I wished more was happening tp this beer, maybe some floral Belgian yeast esters or a sharp citrus hoppiness tp cut into the honey, but no, it is just honey. A bit of a disappointment.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Nitro... Clear, light amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is all about the honey – honey, honey and more honey – I can’t really pull anything else out of it. Medium to full-bodied and syrupy with feather-soft carbonation. The flavor is crazy sweet – downright cloying – offering loads of good Florida honey, which I like, but wasn’t hoping to drink a full glass of. Maybe some pale grains and a medicinal note in here as well, but they’re both an afterthought at best. The lengthy finish is sweet at first; but then, surprisingly, I am provided some decent bitterness at the wee end that lingers a bit. Still, too little; too late.

Draft at brewery, poured into a tulip snifter glass. Poured a darker yellow color with aromas of wheat, and honey. Flavor is majority of honey when it was served, however because we were sitting outside it warmed up and more of the wheat flavors came through and byt the end it was a nice balance of honey, wheat, and booze coming through.

Poured up on tap at the Dunedin brewpub with clear gold body and bright white head. The aroma offers up sweet honey and mead like notes with lesser amounts of mild chemical booze. Seems bragget like. The taste is rich with yummy smooth honey goodness starting with hints of malts quickly rolling into firm honey notes that seem to be nuanced with sweet citrus flavored hard candy along with sweetened floral hops and spicy hops. These notes are really hitting the spot right now. That core of sweet citrus and touch of floral amidst the smooth sweet honey is tasting great. It manages an English Barleywine like sensation from time to time with its smooth sweetness and slick malts and seemingly sweet estery fruitiness. I want to put this on my toast and in my coffee in the morning. Well done. That is some tasty local honey!
