651mL shared at the RBWG Grand Tasting, probably thanks to burg326 once again. Geez. The pour in clear deep brown. Okay foam. Nose is salty, roasty, harsher roast and soy, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is sugary, Southern sweet tea, stickier syrup. Wasn’t my favorite. Palate a bit thin for style.

Bottle at RBWg 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours thick black with a fine, tan foam head. Dark berries in the nose, some burnt wood. Medium to big sweet flavor, sugary dark bread, bit of earth, full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, just some dark malts, dark fruits, light tang, some earthy bitterness. Not bad.
