Dunedin Razzbeery Wheat Ale

Draft at the brewery. Poured cloudy golden copper in color with a small white ring of bubbles. Aroma of raspberries and wheat. Taste is of raspberries balances nicely with the wheat. Not much else to it. It’s refreshing and quite drinkable.

Tap at the brewery. Pours to a really hazy light red-tinted pale straw colored body with a thin ring white head. The flavor is raspberry puree and toasted wheat. Actually very well balanced. The aroma is a bit too light. Crisp and refreshing raspberry wheat. Decently done.

Bottle (473ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- courtesy of gunhaver. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a spare diminishing frothy white head. Mild raspberry aroma along with some yeast and a bit of sourness. Watery flavour of wheat, grain, very light raspberry and a light sour finish. Not really getting any hops in there at all. Maybe some spices in the finish. Light to average bodied. I don’t know, the aroma’s O.K. but the flavour misses the mark -- not very good in my opinion.

Bottle (16oz). Shared by blankboy with garthicus. Murky deep orange with tiny white floaties and a tiny head. Sour aroma, like spoiled orange juice, raspberry and yeasty. Taste - lemon juice and cardboard. Thick, non-carbonated and acidic body. Not too good.
