3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hershiser2 (1006) - Charlottesville, USA - AUG 30, 2005
Pours with almost a pinkish-purple hue. Small head. Aroma of raspberries in the nose. Flavor is slightly wheaty raspberry. Better than some of the other fruit-added beers I’ve had, but it’s not exceptional.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 burg326 (1113) - Florida, USA - OCT 13, 2011
On tap at the brewery. Poured a reddish, yellow color with very little head. Aroma of raspberry syrup. Nothing too special here, has a wheat base with an almost artificial raspberry syrup. Overall hit the spot after a nice bike ride on the bike trail.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - SEP 11, 2010
Draft @ Brewpub: Hazy orange, nose of raspberry extract, light wheat. Thin body, lots of raspberry extract. Not for me. I thought breweries stopped making these a decade ago?
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 DrinkEmUpJones (675) - Georgia, USA - AUG 9, 2010
Honey-colored w/ nice white lacing. Medium-bodied palate is sweet with notes of raspberry jam. A little too sweet and not complex, this is a good "beginners beer"
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beernovice39 (2095) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 2, 2010

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 kramer (3457) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 22, 2010
On tap, at brewery, RBWG 2010. Pours a reddish tinged dark gold body with a minimal white head. The nose is huge raspberry syrup and not a whole lot else. Smells rather unnatural. The flavor is much the same, your average Wheat Ale but with a big shot of extract tasting raspberry syrup. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Lingering raspberry extract finish. Not so good.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2010
A hazed golden amber wheat with a thin white head. Strong aroma of raspberry juice, a bit chemical bit not overly sweet or cloying. In mouth, a smooth raspberry wheat with nice raspberry juice, again with this mineral side, not bad. On tap at brewpub, May 23 2010.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ExpendableHero (572) - Florida, USA - APR 27, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2010 Call me crazy, but I enjoyed this one. It was the type of beer that got better the more I drank it. Cloudy amber pour with decent white head. Smells strongly of mixed berries and grains. Taste is bitter, even a bit unpleasant, at first. Like tart raspberries, old grains, skunky even. Not a sipper if you wish to enjoy it, gulp it down. That way the raspberry taste will really come out, and the bitter aftertaste will actually be pleasant.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 18, 2010
Tap at Dunedin at RBWG 2010 bus tour. Pours hazy light gold- ok head- fades a bit. Aroma is dry earthy mineral, with seedy and pitty raspberry, but also some fake syrup earthiness as well, wheat and dusty toast. Flavor is zesty orang eand rasp syrup combines, oily, solvent, wheat, toast, earth and chemical. Meh.
