Pint pour of amber brown with full white head. Nose is mostly malt and sweet caramel. Flavors come through pretty similar. Not really complex or heavy, just an easy drinking amber that goes down smooth. Medium body with mild lacing. Not bad.

Originally reviewed: 6/24/09. Pours a crystal clear amber with a big popping ivory head that fizzes away quickly. No lacing. There’s a big metallic twang on first sniff, but this melts to a slight smoky, roasted scent.
Crisp mouthfeel that dries the mouth a smidge. Tastes a tad like metal, as the scent hints at. Some sweet caramel bumps that out of the way quickly though. Also some toasted bread crust, and bready malts in there as well. Not a bad brew.

On draft at the brewery, pours a dark amber color with aromas of caramel, malt, cereal, and some hops. Favor is much of the same with a caramel flavor more up front.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a moderate tan head that lasted until the very end and left a thick sheet of foam with each sip and layers on the glass. The aroma is a bit musty along with caramel and malt. The flavor is caramel that has a bit of a stale quality to it followed by some very mild hops bitterness. Medium bodied. My first rating for this brewer.
