Sad...

Really dark brown. Once again a rubber, phenol, new shoes smell. Bland, not offensive, but really, really bland.

I don't know what to say except I truly sorry for anyone who has had this crap. Embarrassed by the fact this is brewed (if that is the right word) in my home county. Flat lifeless brown water with a hint of roasted malt thrown in. No body or taste. At least the wheat was not offensive.

Void of life, this brown water ale had a nose of bubblegum and wet cardboard. Almost completely absent of flavor, with just a pinch of sweet malts. Very poor quality. Hardly a brown ale.

A poor excuse for a brown. This is a brewpub for people who don’t like beer.

The amber is really dark and the brown is really light, so they come out with the same color, basically. It has body, malt, and hops, but all weak and somewhat at war with each other.
