Bottle 500ml. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting - Ulfborg ].

Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted, burnt, strong coffee, dark coffee, dark dark roasted. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, burnt burnt roasted, dark coffee, dark roasted roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120218]

Bottle, 4.5%. Slightly citric aroma. Black colour, small light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a little coffee. The mouthfeel is a little thin for an oatmeal stout, but OK, I guess. The flavour is good, for the ABV anyway.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma is Roasted dark malty, light herbal and distinct coffee flavoured. Bitter and dry herbal. Bitter, dark malty and light herbal.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Rasmus40. Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a rough beige head. Hard roast aroma. Lighy body, hard roast, licorice and a little ashes. Roasty bitter finish. But pleasant alright. 180212

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, coffee, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Clear dark reddish brown a beige head. Aroma is sweet, a little roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 180212

Bottle @ Fastelavnssmagning 2012, Ulfborg. Pours ruby amber with a small head. Oat, vanilla and cold coffee. Medium and smooth. Roasted bitter finish.

Bottle. Very dark brown with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little sweet, caramel and little bitter.

Bottle. A dense, finger-thick, dark beige head over a clear, reddish dark brown body. Coffee, roasted malts and some dark chocolate on the nose, along with a touch of dried fruits. There’s a nice hoppy bitterness in the flavor, balancing roasted malts, coffee and some chocolate. A touch of dried fruits too. Medium to full body, smooth carbonation, although a bit sharp due to the roasted malts. Lasting finish with roasted malts and coffee. A pleasant one. 120218

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, nuts, coffee and hops.
