Bottle (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o garthicus. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with an average size semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma of floral, herbal hops and citrus fruit. Flavour is hoppy and citrusy along with some grain and a light bitter finish. Average bodied. I enjoyed this, I’d have it again.

500ml bottle shared by garthicus with me and blankboy. Hazy orange, smallish drool of head. Slight acetone aroma, apricot and flowers. Taste follows, a little dry and papery, bitterness is all tattoo girl - I mean floral. Watery body, a bit astringent, mildly carbonated with a somewhat pungent floral finish. Ehhh .

Bottle. Hazy copper with a medium lasting head. Aroma of orange spice and some nut. Plenty of hop in the flavour, citrus and pine. Finish is lingering bitter, but not overly dry

50cl bottle @ Bull and Castle, Dublin.

Hazy dull tan. Thick head. Lightly fruity hop nose with hints of wood - kind of cascadey. Soft fruity hop, slightly toasty, biscuity malt. Good balance. Some yeasty character in the finish.

wow, this was definitely unexpected. most of the micros ive had from ireland are in the "not bad" range, but this goes into the "delicious" peak of blonde ales that have the hoppiness almost to a pale ale level. fruity and citrusy with mostly a grapefruit flavor, golden blonde in color, duh!, but just absolutely delicious, i cant wait to try the other offerings from this brewer and a great step forward for irish microbrewers.

Bottle @ The Abbot in Cork. Poured in the yeast, and it looks good like that, has a lasting head. The aroma and flavors are surprisingly hoppy with a few baskets full of flowers adding complexity. Much better than expected, and could easily drink more.

On cask at Oslo bar, Galway. Appearance: Gold, slightly hazy, decent frothy snow white head. Aroma: fruity, predominantly citrus but with a decent hop and malt undertone, floral too. Smells lovely. . Flavour: Moderatly hoppy at first, slightly spicy with a nice fruitiness, lemon rind, yeast, with a decent bitter finish. Really nice.

Cloudy orange, smells a bit sweet oranges and nuts. Taste like pine and nuts followed by overall biterness. Reminds me of the good old Samuel Adams standard. Finishes of bitter stuck at the back of your throat. A nice beer but too bitter for me thanks!
