A refreshing blonde ale generously hopped to give bitterness and aroma that packs a punch. Great with spicy food.

Cloudy orange, smells a bit sweet oranges and nuts. Taste like pine and nuts followed by overall biterness. Reminds me of the good old Samuel Adams standard. Finishes of bitter stuck at the back of your throat. A nice beer but too bitter for me thanks!

500ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that has decent retention and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and grass with some cereal grains. Taste is a grassy and light citrus hop bitterness with a light malty sweetness. Grainy mouth feel. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent brew for the style.

Bottle @ Copper Still, Dromod [180314]
Blonde, slight haze, frothy dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of citrus hops, soft grapefruit, sweet fruity pale malts, some tropical fruit in there, fruity nose
Taste of fresh citrus hops, grapefruit pith, sweet fruity pale malts, touch of biscuity malt, dab of pine, grapefruit zest,
Palate - soft carb, medium body, quite oily, good mouthfeel, sweet pale malts, decent hoppy citrus bite. Finish as main flavour with a nice lingering sharp citrus zest
Overall - A lot of these bottled golden ales are rather dull and insipid - this is not the case - really decent blonde, plenty of flavour. Found it better quite chilled
